System of a Down- B.Y.O.B

This song has influenced me since I was in high school. I still remember listening to this song before soccer games to get pumped up.  My favorite part of the song is the tension and release they use during the song.  It goes from hardcore, loud instruments to a softer sound where you hear only vocals and some background music.  The artist efficiently use tension to get the listener pumped up.  Then using a release such as the soft part of a song they relieve the tension brought earlier in the song.  The song alternated between tension and release.
